A Sampling of My Work
Since I've started at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, as part of my classes, I've taken to using Unity to create environments to walk around in and explore my work. I've been pretty busy though, and all of these are only for one class, namely my Introduction to 3D class.
You'll need the Unity Web Player to be able to use these, as well as some sort of program to un.zip them. If you don't have WinZip or WinRar, I recommend B1 Free Archiver. Both are completely free to use. Also, when opening the files, you need only click on the .html one. I recommend right-clicking and opening with Firefox. Because other browsers don't really work with Unity. Internet Explorer does, but it isn't the best browser. Chrome doesn't support Unity.

Thanks to Daniel Kane for the massive scripting help. Credits available upon completion, but the flamethrower was inspired by Natural Selection 2 with Fallout: New Vegas sounds from GameBanana.com, and the ambiance was from Halo Combat Evolved.
Again, thanks to Daniel Kane with massive scripting help.
I didn't have time to figure out cycling each gun to only use one button, nor to add a good looking muzzle blast. Also, the cursor is not rendered in the frame, but it is possible to click outside of the frame and ruin the experience. Sound effects very simply mixed in Adobe Audition and soundbible.com Ocean Simulation from ScrawkBlog. Click on the photo to visit download link. |
